Mimi started her catering business, Signature Affair in 2001. She believes that every event should be unique and reflective of the couple’s wants and needs. 20 years later, Mimi and her team still strive for exceptional service and look for the best quality of ingredients that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Mimi’s experience in the hospitality industry spans over 35 years, so she definitely knows what it takes to tie an event together. Each dinner menu is customized and unique to the couple’s wants and the environment in which the event is being held. Her team specializes in listening to client’s needs and creating their own event experience, even if it means taking off the catering hat. Oftentimes, her team even doubles as event planners and wedding coordinators!

The team at Signature Affair Catering really takes the time to get to know their clients. It is more than just a meet-and-greet, it takes time to really get to know a couple, their needs, and their budget. From wedding buffets and desserts to 10-foot long grazing tables, Signature Affair can make culinary magic for your special day!

The biggest thing is communication. You can ask for anything, and then let me see what I can do for you. I’d rather know what your dream day is so that I can try to get you there, or even get you there, but I can’t help you unless you tell me everything. Even when you’re reaching out to other vendors, you want to feel like you’re being heard, and like they are really listening to you. Because if they aren’t listening to you now, they won’t be listening to you later.
