Redland Family Farm Venue Feature

Redland Family Farm Venue is a Christmas tree farm operating just 30 minutes from Portland in Oregon City. The space includes a Christmas tree farm, olive tree grove, plum orchard, old growth timber area, a barn and several other unique buildings.

Why Book your Wedding at Redland Family Farm

This venue offers a picturesque setting for your celebrations of all sizes. Redland Family Farm offers a beautiful blank canvas to customize the space to be as unique as you are! There are tons of different areas to choose from around the property, and you could have all of your wedding day events spread out amongst them all, or you could stay localized to just one space. And every single location is picture perfect and unique in its own way.

It is clear that the venue has been created with care and attention to detail and the overall guest experience. The indoor options all have tons of natural light, and great lay-outs. The indoor-outdoor flow is very well planned between the buildings, and the outdoor spaces. The space is a photographer’s dream venue for sure! Not to mention, the owners are very kind and attentive. They will feel like your best friends for the day, and they will help however they can to ensure your vision is brought to life.

The venue owners

Some Reasons we love this venue:

A private 50 acre property allows for creative design and use for each space

A variety of indoor and outdoor spaces for hosting events big or small

Great natural light inside and out

Two spacious getting-ready areas

Full kitchen for catering prep, staging, and wedding party food

Beautifully lit outdoor patio and green space

Gorgeous old tree over 100 years old makes a great backdrop for an outdoor ceremony (unfortunately it was raining on the day of this event and we stayed indoors)

All about the vision

The visionaries behind this venue feature was Crystal Genes Photography, Event Planner Carrie of Totem Events and Florist Hannah of Hannah Paula Studio. They wanted a whimsical cottage garden inspired set with patterned linens and wild organic botanicals. Since there are so many different amazing areas to utilize at the venue, they couldn’t pick just one, so they chose to feature a few different areas! They used the barn as the reception space, the hangar building as the ceremony space and lounge area, and the sunny pavilion building as the cake cutting area. You can also see the bridal suite in the getting ready images from the day. They had plans to utilize the lawn and giant old tree as well, but unfortunately it rained the entire day.

All About the Yums

Bliss bar brought their mobile horse trailer bar and served cocktails that complimented the vintage vibes of the day.

Cubed Craft Ice brought their custom ice cubes. Each hand crafted cube had rose petals inside.

Pretty Party Platters created one of their famous and beautiful custom charcuterie spreads. Sweet Heart Cakes created a gorgeous two tiered cake decorated with fresh flowers. Willaby’s catering provided the delicious fresh fruit hors d’oeuvres of Blackberry and Strawberry basil and mozzarella Skewers, Blueberry Feta and Honey-Carmelized Onion Naan and vegetarian crostini.

All About the Details

Totem Events helped to coordinate all the details and vendors involved in the shoot. The expanse of this shoot was a massive undertaking, one of our largest shoots yet, but she handled it all like the pro that she is!

Hannah Paula Studio created some of the most gorgeous floral installations we’ve seen, that just screamed whimsical garden party. Not to mention Hannah is a delight to be around with the most infectious laugh!

Lily and Cane provided the furniture. Setting the Table Rentals provided the gorgeous vintage place settings, servingware, candle holders, cake plates, and flatlay trays. The beautiful lace and patterned linens and napkins were rented from BBJ LaTavola. They have such a great assortment of unique linens to choose from, it’s so hard to pick a favorite!

The Stationary and Signage was provided by Kailee at Selkie Stationary. She provided beautiful hand crafted stationary sets inspired by the pastel color palette and vintage cottage theme, as well as signage for the food table and bar, and also place setting cards for the table.

All About the Beauty

Tarasina with Glowboutique did an excellent job styling the hair and makeup for both models. Hannah created beautiful floral wearables for the models as well. She also created a wearable floral piece for our dog model’s collar!

Vien, owner of Vouture Bridal Boutique opened in 2013, with shops in both Salem and Portland. She provided the bridal gown, bridesmaids dress, and all the menswear. Vouture has their own line of custom couture dresses to suit a wide variety of styles. Vien can also custom-make your wedding dress visions and designs.

The jewelry was brought in from Ken and Daughter. Ken and Daughter in a third generation family run store that has been in business for an impressive 43 years in Salem Oregon. They focus on diamond engagement and wedding rings and the family jeweler experience.

All About the Service

The live wedding painting was done by Kersyth, who is so talented and a joy to chat with. When he paints at a wedding, guests not only enjoy watching the process and progress of the painting throughout the day, but they always love being entertained by his conversation as well.

Our officiant for this shoot, Lui owner of Embodied Institute is also an intimacy coach, choreographer, and ritual artist. He offers and leads a unique movement ritual called River of Love that is designed as an activity for families to meet in a harmonious and memorable way during a wedding weekend.

This was our first feature that included a dog model. And it was all thanks to Lindsay, owner of Tails and Vows, for making it happen! She picked up our dog model from him house in the afternoon, took him for a walk and then brought him to the shoot. She made sure he was brushed and dressed in his best attire. If he was hungry or thirsty, she was at the ready, and if he was tired or feeling stressed out, she took him for a quiet retreat or for a walk about. Our pets are our family, and with a professional pet attendant like Lindsay, now you can include your furry friends in your wedding day without the stress!

Picture Perfect Party Rentals brought their fun photobooth set up! They have several backdrops to choose from, but for this shoot they created a hanging flower backdrop made from fresh carnations. It was so cute!

A NwWU favorite, Dane, owner of Casperson Productions, joined us once again to provide some video footage from the day.

We also had a Content Creator team on board, Sightglass Photography, capturing all the behind the scenes action from their iPhones.

Finally, we also had three amazing photographers join us as secondary shooters; The Wickerts Photography, Christa Eans Photography, and Kayla Cindy Photography who joined us all the way from the Bend area!
