Alana has over 19 years of experience in the floral design business. She started her own company in 2017 and has been going strong ever since.
She loves meeting and getting to know couples. Alana especially loves learning what they envision their dream wedding will be so she can help bring that to life with flowers!
Her company is focused on supporting local farmers, environmental sustainability, and minimizing waste. She strives to support local floral farms and organic, ecologically friendly flowers as much as she can. Alana is always looking to find ways to design in environmentally sustainable ways. In addition, she also provides high quality silk arrangements as an alternative to fresh flowers.
Her work has been published Oregon Bride Magazine, Tearsheet PDX Magazine, Oregon Bride Magazine Blog, and Storybook Wedding Blog.

ALANA’S TIP FOR ALL COUPLES
The obvious thing is to always hire a professional and not try to do flowers yourself. On the day of the event there are always last minute things that come up and consequently can be very stressful. Aside from that, don’t get hung up on the tiny details and having very specific flowers. She says it’s great to have a general style, a palate and a mood board. Hence, leave it up to your professional to see what looks best, the most fresh, and are the right sizes available at the market on the week-of.
