In this mini video feature, join NwWU host, Crystal Genes Photography as she chats with Samantha (Sam) Nutt of Samantha Rae Creative Events.
I first met Sam when she and her fiance volunteered to model for our very first episode at Victorian Belle Mansion. It turns out she is also an experienced event planner and coordinator! She will be working with us on our next couple of features. I can’t wait to see everything come together for each one!
Sam primarily provides day-of and month-of coordination. Her typical couple is someone who really enjoys a lot of the planning process but just needs someone to help pull it all together on the day of so that they can relax and enjoy their day.
SAMANTHA’S TIP FOR ALL COUPLES
Sam has two tips for couples. First, make your wedding as much a part of you as you can. Get rid of any traditions you’re not a fan of. Find ways to incorporate unique aspects that highlight your personality. Second, hire professionals. Friends and family who offer to help on the wedding day mean well, but they should also be able to enjoy the event. If something goes wrong (as it always does!) a professional knows how to handle issues while not raising alarm for the couple. Friends and family are more likely to not know what’s going on and will go straight to the couple with issues.
