I first met Tamara at a wedding professionals networking meetup. She was very gregarious and had great energy. She’s been in the floral business for 4 years and I was excited to have her on board for this fun wedding shoot at Saint Irenes. A family run full-service business, they provide florals for events as well as daily deliveries.
She loves thinking outside of the box to create really unique arrangements. Her team works hard to get the feeling of the event, and not just copy and paste arrangements. They enjoy creating a whole look that is representative of the event and couple And she strives to locally source as many of her flowers and materials as possible.
Tamara said, “I think that like every artist, we are all unique in our own personal aesthetics. Every single designer is going to have their own personal take and inspiration. I love that about floral design. Everything can be the ‘same’ but each will have its own character.”
TAMARA’S TIP FOR ALL COUPLES
Really think about your priority list for their event as a whole so that you can really allot more of your budget to things that are most important to you. Don’t just go by percentages that magazines tell you to use. And don’t be afraid to cut something out that is not important to you.
