ABBEY ROAD FARM VENUE FEATURE

Abbey Road Farm is an 82-acre farm, winery, tasting room, event space, and bed & breakfast in Carlton, OR. Located in the heart of Oregon Wine Country, there are sweeping views, delicious wines to taste, and the cutest farm animals to befriend!

WHY BOOK YOUR WEDDING AT ABBEY ROAD FARM?

Abbey Road Farm offers an ideal setting for your celebration with a capacity of up to 200 people. Their beautifully renovated horse riding arena provides an excellent indoor option, available year-round. And for days with nice Oregon weather, their meticulously maintained gardens boasting panoramic views, including a lush turf lawn, is perfect for an outdoor gathering. The team at the farm places a huge emphasis on hospitality. They are all very hands-on and accommodating to make sure events run smoothly.

HERE ARE SOME REASONS WE LOVE THIS VENUE:

1. Silo Suites B&B; a unique stay in renovated grain silos offer a blend of rustic charm and modern amenities with an incredible view and an even better breakfast.

2. Vineyard and Winery; 16 varieties of grapes offer the opportunity to experience new wines paired with a gourmet provisions menu.

3. Weddings and Events; versatile spaces and panoramic views provide the perfect setting for celebrations of all kinds up to 200 guests.

4. Farm to Table; the culinary garden is used to feed both B&B guests and their sister restaurant Quaintrelle. Their menus feature produce, eggs, honey, and more all produced on their farm.

5. Fun! The team is very focused on hospitality. They host several events throughout the year including, line dancing, vendor markets, movie nights, farm-to-table dinners, and an end-of-summer festival called Silobration NW.

ALL ABOUT THE VISION

The planner for this venue feature was Elle, owner of Elle Beauty & Events. She envisioned a micro wedding that would focus on the gorgeous view from the covered patio outside the tasting room. We wanted rich jewel tones and a warm cozy atmosphere. Although the farm could be considered rustic, she wanted an elevated and elegant look for this space; formal yet comfy and relaxed.

ALL ABOUT THE YUMS

We primarily focused on the outdoor patio area for the ceremony and reception events. But inside the tasting room, we featured Freeland Spirits, a bartender, a mobile crepe cart, and a gourmet s’mores company!

Crepe World is a mobile creperie offering handheld, sweet & savory gourmet crepes. They specialize in creating food art through crepes and charcuterie cups. They are the only family-owned, grassroots, built-from-the-ground-up creperie cart in town.

1927 S’mores Company is Portland-based. They will come to your event to create gourmet s’mores for your guests and also offer vegan and gluten-free options. They were the first gourmet s’mores company in the USA and the only one that makes nearly everything in-house or sourced locally.

Freeland is a Portland-based distillery that is woman-owned, specializing in hand-crafted, small-batch spirits. They also make fresh craft cocktail mixers! The great thing about having Elle as your planner, is that she also owns a bartending company. Abbey Road Farm has a great custom bar area, so she had one of her bartenders come to whip up some tasty cocktails featuring Freeland’s delicious spirits and mixers.

Finally, Cascadia Kitchen designed the most beautiful cake for our vision, with handpainted icing flowers in the perfect colors. The cake started the day inside near the bar, but made it’s way to the patio closer to sunset! Not only was it gorgeous, but super tasty!

ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS

The venue has some gorgeous wooden farm tables available. They were perfect for our reception and sweetheart table set-up. Cozy wicker and velvet chairs were rented from Power of Love Rentals. Bronze candlesticks were also sourced from Power of Love Rentals in addition to the tableware items and design.

What really made the colors in this vision take the stage, was the floral arrangements made by Jeremi, owner of Pollinate Flowers. He created a gorgeous hanging installation that served as both the ceremony backdrop as well as a focal statement for over the sweetheart table. A cascading floral installation was created over the end of the reception table which brought a beautiful balance to the entire space. Bud vases with individual stems were also placed all around the table, between the candles.

Oblation Papers & Press designed a beautiful invitation suite for us. They are a local Portland letterpress shop that has been in business for over 25 years, and they make their paper in-house!

ALL ABOUT THE BEAUTY

Finally, our beauty and styling team consisted of House of Rose, Crown Bridal, and Tracy Does Makeup.

House of Rose is a couture design shop based in Lake Oswego. They specialize in bespoke suits, couture dresses, tailored formalwear, and custom shoes. We got the groom’s amazing suit and shoes from House of Rose. Not to mention, they also boast the fastest turnaround time on the West Coast while maintaining attention to detail for a polished look that matches how you feel.

Crown Bridal, a bridal shop based in Vancouver, WA helped us dress our bride and the bridesmaids with beautiful items from their inventory! They specialize in taking their time with their clients and focus on immersing all of their brides in the “whole package” experience.

Tracy Does Makeup joined us once again for another amazing feature! We’ve featured Tracy here before, and have to say she’s definitely one of the very best around. She does excellent hair and makeup artistry, is just a gem to have around and talk to, and is very focused on providing a stellar experience to match a picture-perfect look. She’s very experienced with high-end fashion productions and how makeup reads under all different kinds of lighting situations. That means she knows how to translate that into the best custom makeup application for your day, as well as for your photographs!
