WHY HAVE AN ELOPEMENT WITH A TEARDROP TRAILER

Having a pop-up Elopement with a Teardrop Trailer? Look no further than Oregon Teardrop Rentals! They provided us with Aspynn, a forest green teardrop trailer. Teardrop trailers are very small and light, making them towable by most midsize vehicles.

Michelle, the owner of Oregon Teardrop Rentals, started her business so other families can experience the Pacific Northwest without the hassle of RV ownership. It is affordable and easy to tow, making it doable for almost anyone!

With many weddings being canceled and postponed due to COVID-19, Michell came up with a new concept for her trailer business. Oregon Teardrop Rentals offers a creative alternative for small micro weddings. What I think is great about this is they will deliver the cake, flowers, champagne, photographer, and teardrop to the outdoor venue of your choice, or you can bring your preferred vendors. After your wedding, take the trailer and go for a honeymoon road trip or leave it up to OTR to pack the trailer away for you.

Aspynn consists of just a bed on the inside. The kitchen is located on the backside of the trailer, under a liftable hatch that also acts as a small ‘awning’ if you will.

The kitchen area served as a bar top for the cake and cocktails for the event. It is lit with LED lights when it gets dark, and there are speakers to listen to music while you cook! After the event, hop inside the trailer, relax and watch the sunset all from your bed.

ABOUT THE BEAUTY

Both of our model’s hair was done by, Hair by Eira. Hair by Eira is located in a private studio located in Salem, Oregon called Urban Evolution Salon. Eira has over 27 years of experience and specializes in style, cut, color, and bridal up-dos. She can also perform facial waxing as well!

Our model’s makeup was provided by Kerrin B Makeup, currently located out of Portland, Oregon. Owner, Kerrin Birchenough has worked professionally in Seattle and New York for editorial shoots with Addidas, Nike, and more! Kerrin specializes in a variety of make-up styles such as Bridal and Special Occasions, Beauty, and Fashion. Kerrin’s expertise in the industry has made her an expert at cultivating any special look.

The wardrobe was sourced for us from a very cool clothing shop in Portland called Shwop! Shwop is a members-only, lightly used refinement shop full of retro clothing items and personality. Having a membership means you get to shop their personal inventory of guaranteed name-brand items without having to deal with the big crowds.

MORE ABOUT THE VENDORS

Once again we worked with the talented Alana, owner, and florist at Flowers by Alana. Alana has been in the flower industry for 20 years and counting! She makes absolutely beautiful floral arrangements all while focusing on environmental sustainability and equality as core pillars of her company.  Flowers by Alana works hard to support local farms and seek organic and ecologically friendly flowers.

Rogue Ales provided us with sparkling cocktails in a can! If you’ve visited the Oregon Coast, you’ve probably heard of Rogue or have had one of their delicious beers! Recently they launched a sparkling cocktail product that we had the opportunity to try! This is a fun alternative twist to skipping the bar and bartender, and having a craft cocktail just by cracking open a can! These sparkling craft cocktails are made with Rogue Spirits and 100% natural ingredients. Each one is about 7.5% in alcohol content by volume and is gluten-free!
