A CHAT WITH LUSH FLORAL DESIGN
In this mini video feature, join NwWU hosts, Crystal Genes Photography and Angela Holm Photography as they chat with Wendy Warner of Lush Floral Design.
Wendy considers her style to be more traditional and romantic. Her passion is for truly lush arrangements. And her dream wedding would be to have floral everywhere throughout the ceremony and reception, putting touches in places people wouldn’t normally think to put it. We suggested groomsmen bouquets, or entire floral attire, which got a good laugh 🙂
Lush Floral Design offers complimentary consultations by appointment at their NW studio. All of their floral is purchased at the local flower market to ensure the freshest and best quality arrangements, as well as to support the local economy. They have a rather extensive rental inventory as well, which includes vintage boxes, candelabras, a variety of large and small vases, shepherd hooks, arbors, fabrics, trees, burlap table tops, log slices, and more.
WENDY’S TIP FOR ALL COUPLES
No matter what your budget is, focus first on your bouquet and your boutonnière. These are the two floral items that will be photographed the most throughout the day, so spend your money there to start. Also, doing a few larger pieces as opposed to a lot of smaller pieces will make a stronger impact.
