Can we all agree that Primps And Bows is an adorable name? The owner, Katie, is also adorable! Katie’s ideal client is a bride looking for textured hair styles and updos. The messy fishtail braid that she gave our bride was not only gorgeous, but looked just as good after 6 hours of running around, as it did in the first hour. She says textured styles are more stress-free and you don’t have to worry about them getting blown around in the wind or other things that can happen on your wedding day. Dancing, sweating, Oregon rain, being hugged 1000 times, are some examples.
KATIE’S TIP FOR ALL COUPLES
At the end of the day, you will be a married couple, so breathe, relax, take everything with a grain of salt, and like Shelby said, “sip your mimosa”!
Also, when it comes to your wedding hair, have realistic expectations. Make sure you realize that when you’re looking at photos for inspiration, not every head of hair is the same. Trust that your hairstylist will work hard to give you what you want that will also work with your hair.
